I am Alex, a problem-solver by trade and geek in my spare time.

As a career, I solve complex problems orientated around data pipelines and ML predictions. I currently work at Google Cloud as a “Strategic Cloud Engineer”. Prior to Google, I led Deloitte’s ML Engineering team and before that, I did High Energy Physics research, at TU Dortmund and Imperial College London

In my spare time, I

• run long distances
• cycle long distances
• play orchestral and jazz trombone
• play cricket
• play computer games (RPGs - Baldur’s Gate, 4X - Civ 6)
• travel to Switzerland (hiking up mountains!)
